Moving On vs Moving Forward

DID YOU KNOW there is a difference between moving on and moving forward. In the aftermath of my husband walking out of our marriage, people would say to me that I needed to move on. How?? It was so hard for me to do. So I began looking into what moving on meant and realized that is what my husband did. I could not do that. Through my research, I found that there is also the phrase moving forward with a very different meaning. I go into more depth about this in Still Standing While on My Knees. Here is a sneak peak. Moving on means picking up, without looking back and starting over. He was able to leave an almost 34 year marriage without looking back. Moving forward means going forward with all the pain, joy, memories, and heartbreak and learning from it and it will make you stronger. I then asked the Lord, How do I do this? I want to know God’s plan for me on how to move forward. So where do I go - to His word. In Still Standing While on My Knees, I share stories and give bible verses about moving forward. You will learn the difference and have a more abundant life after understanding the difference and be able to move forward.
