   My Story

Hi. Thank you for stopping by.  Allow me to introduce myself.  Recently divorced, I have begun a new chapter in my life.  I look forward to each day to see what lessons the Lord will teach me and what treasures He will bestow on me.

I come from a large Italian/Irish family.  And yes, all the stereotypes are true.  We are loud and love to eat and are very passionate. It is not rare to have cousins show up and join family dinnertime.  In the past few years, both my parents have passed to be with the Lord.  I learned a lot from both of them, but especially from my mom in her last years with Alzheimer’s.  Through her, the Lord taught me to “Live in the Moment.”  We shared so much laughter even sometimes through the tears. I miss her so.

I have three adult children, two sons-in-law, and a grandchild.  I look forward to their visits and yes, we have lots of food around the table, recipes handed down from generations.  And oh boy, it can get loud when we get together, especially when playing board games and outdoor games.  We are all very competitive!

In this new stage of retirement from teaching and not having to take care of children, I have found my way back to playing tennis, playing card games, reading, and to my first love of participating in and sometimes leading Bible studies. Also, I thoroughly enjoy my new gig as Nonna babysitter! God has also changed my ministry.  While still having a heart for marriages and families, I also now have a heart for those going through divorce, loss, illnesses, and grief and that is how 4916 Ministry began.  I would love to get to know you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
