4916 Ministry began when people found out what I had gone through and would share their stories with me and ask me questions how I was able to get through the dark times.

A message from Lisa France, Founder of 4916 Ministry

If you’re like me, your life’s story has been anything but ordinary, and it’s filled with unexpected events that no one could prepare you for. If you read my story, you’ll see I’ve been in those trenches like you - scared to move and unsure of which direction to turn. In the last few years, I have dealt with death of a loved one, unexpected divorce, and cancer diagnoses. What I didn’t know then, was that the Lord was preparing me in ways I could not have imagined, allowing my past to inspire hope for those still in the trenches.

I was given a necklace with a lotus flower as a gift. The person explained that the lotus grows into a beautiful flower. It is beautiful on the surface, but its roots grow out of the mud and muck underneath. The person explained to me that he sees how I have grown into this beautiful flower even going through all the muck in my life. Each time I wear the necklace, I smile when I think of the meaning and I am humbled.

God saw what lay ahead and prepared me for this journey. Through every step and every tear, He was there helping me take one step at a time. I sheltered in the warm embrace of Christ’s love, and made space to be still and read His word. In this sacred time, I felt God encourage me to write a book to help others. I promised Him if He gave me the words, I would write everyday and I did so for over a year. That’s what led to the publishing of Still Standing While On my Knees and to develop the 4916 Ministry, where I hope and pray stories like mine and the lessons I have learned along the way will help you find the same powerful peace in your journey.

My vison is to have this be a a back and forth dialog. I would love to walk along side you through your journey, supporting you so you do not feel alone, and encouraging you to move forward and see the blessings that the Lord has waiting for you.
